Maison d'hôtes de charme et table d'hôtes en Drôme Provençale
The construction of le mas du père jean started round and about 1716. The right part of the farm is the oldest part.
According to the old tradition in the Provence, the Mas was constructed in different stages, taking into account the needs of the famers family and the agricultural activities.
The premises are forming a "U" around the inner court protecting its owner from Mistralin wintertime., Living space and granary on the first floor, as tradition required.
On the ground floor were located sheep and horse stables as well as a forgery, the wine cellar and of course the stone wine vats in which Père Jean used to make his own wine.
Stables and granary were rebuilt into 5 comfortable guest rooms. We respected old materials.
The forgery became a cheerfull living room with fireplace, next to the vaulted wine cellar.
